While waiting for the taxi we noticed such a strange body!!! we don’t know if she is a girl or a guy she look like a guy but she is wearing a girly swimming custom and she is top less and she has boobs but she doesn’t look like a girl though. Then she jumped in the water in a place prohibiting swimming so every one even the guards were astonished then she went up starting playing Kong fu by her self and at this point I realized either she smokes crack or she is fucked up in the head but it was good to see this and experience it too!

Arrived to sydney

Today we arrived me and jen to Sydney at 7am after a 24 hour flying, it didn’t take us more than 10 minutes to finish the customs and visa procedure the people are nice and warmer than in new York which gave me a good impression, of course jen forced me to throw the food I have since as she said I am not allowed to bring to the country any food which happen to be a couple of sandwiches J but its jen anyway
We found Jen’s Dad; mum and best friend denies waiting for us.
I ve only met Denise before for 10 minutes in Germany conference in August 2004
Anyway I was worried in the beginning about meeting jen’s parent especially her mum cause I really heard a lot about how difficult she is, which turned out after a while to be the sweatiest, funniest and coolest Irish character I ve met in my life, she is hilarious and so funny with her Irish Accent especially when she say fack as fuck and Jesus when she get disgusted of something.
None the less I was suffering from a severe jetlag that made me feel the whole day as if I am on a boat in a rough ocean. But we stayed awake that day till night so we can balance.
Anyway we went home dropped our bags and jen’s mum took us out for breakfast at an amazing beach called googe beach and I had bacon and eggs as I love it.
The view was really amazing and I felt home I don’t know why but maybe because of the sea which remind me a lot with Alexandria my city in Egypt.
You know all Coastal Cities look like each other in a way or another.
We went for a quick shopping I am with Jean, Jennifer’s mum in the car and Jennifer with Denise her best friend.
We had couple of talked about the culture in Egypt and how does she think Egypt is, and I found out that she is a typical Irish lady that would think Egypt is a dessert and we treat our women badly also because she read the book “not without my daughter” about a girl who got married in the Arab world and suffered a lot.
We went back home and I feel terrible because I am still tired from the jet lag.
That night we slept by 9:30 pm
Sydney is such an amazing city with its people especially they are so worm and nice, but still to be honest NYC is my favorite which I seriously feel home don’t ask me why. This fact doesn’t please jen so much.
The impression I got about Sydney so far that it is a mix of Western and eastern culture actually from the side of food and people attitude, but it is fullllll of cockroaches they are every where the fuckers, “ I hate the fackers” as jen’s mum says, while it is the cleanest city I ve seen in my life.

Pre Sydney Trip

It’s the night I am traveling to Sydney 7th of December and I think I ve discovered something about my self which I don’t like.
I think I have phobia from flying specially after experiencing flying inside the United States on small flight and in terrible weather, god I hate this (as jen’s mum says)
I can’t sleep and I won’t sleep actually and I bought this sleeping bill so it knocks me off on the flight I hope it will be ok. This flight is 24 hours flying
6 hours from New York to San Francisco and San Francisco to Sydney 15 hours.
I always have this shitty dreams and sick though of my flight crashing and I don’t believe I would arrive safely and it is strange because I only discovered this after my trip inside the us and after I read part of the commission report about September 11.
Anyway hope it will be ok.

Thanks giving Hollydays in Minneapolis

After a lot of thinking about where to spend the thanks giving holydays which is 5 days, and jen will be visiting her brother Keith in Ireland that happens that not seen him from 2 year ago.
I had the chance to visit my uncle in Seattle, or my mum’s family in Chicago or my beloved friend and former U.S Trainees in Egypt and one of them worked with me in my company attention.
They were Holly and Kait. I preferred to spend this holyday with them because I am sure that staying with friend better than staying with family 100 times I am sure while staying with family will save you so much money but I love my friend.
Anyway despite that my flight was terrible I had such a good time and scary time too.
It happen that couple of days b4 my flight I started reading a novel for Stephen king Called Pet Sematary and of course its scary, “Sweet” but I didn’t except to find the story in reality when I arrive to Minneapolis to meet with holly in the airport and I tell her about my amazing novel and how this guy found a grave yard in his back yard.
And Minneapolis was kind of very cold so dark on the high way and the high way looks really scary, so I found holly laughing in a mysterious way and look at me surprising me with the worst news that I didn’t need to know J
Roudy we have found a grave yard in our backyard…!
Of course my response was like in the movies “shocked accompanied by what the fuckkkkk!!! You are kidding me right? and holly was laughing so hard, and I went like holly seriously I am not kidding now are u joking and she said no I swear we found coincidently a grave yard in our back yard for a 19 years old guy who died 1918 and his name is Claudio!
And I was oh my god I wasn’t really looking for something like this.
I arrived we had something to eat at night and we stayed for a while and I had the chance to watch snow the first time in my life, Minneapolis is the coldest place I ve been to since it was -20C by this time and say say that this is not cold yet.
I met one of Kait and holly best friends her name is Amy she is such a sweet and funny girl. We had a blast all the days and night mainly eating we ate so so much I don’t know why but we were eating all the time.
We went also for some cool night clubs and I had the chance to see part of the real American culture not similar at all to the cosmopolitan Culture in New York.
I spend 5 nights at kait and holly house and I am really great full for the great fund they gave to me ;) haha.

Thanks giving Lunch

Today is Sunday the week before thanks giving which should be on 25th of November, and we headed to the AIESEC office to have thanks giving lunch with all the LC member and executive bored of AIESEC in NY.
Every one should have brought a dish, so I and jen cooked something so strange which happens to be fried rice with some broccoli and vegetable.
Paul and Sarah on Jen MC/ team cooked a whole turkey which took like 6 hours to be done and they were late for us to have lunch. But …
One day Jennifer and all her team decided to go to splash for the happy hour from 7 pm and lucky me it happens to be the gayest bard ever seen in my life.
Haha it is a really gay bar, the bar tenders are top naked without T-shirt and they have this kind of well built body and every one there “gay” checking them and trying to be sweet with them, even George one of Jens team mate who is gay find the bar tender so hot, by the way George is one of the amazing guys that I ve met in New York he is so fun really.
The fact that I was in a gay bard didn’t bother me or annoy me at all, the fact that I asked jen and the George to go their actually to have the experience, but ….
I didn’t except my ass to be grabbed by a gay, this wasn’t one of my expectations that I am looking for neither feeling that I am being checked out by some guys who happen to be gays.
Anyway this is all happened but I kind felt sick after a while and I kept asking jen to stay with me so I don’t give the chance to anyone, oh I mean any gay to have hopes or any shit I kept holding jen’s hand while watching guys kissing and different things like this happening in front of my, I really like the experience so much but for sure I don’t like to repeat it again.
But it was something I will never forget.
Splaaaash!!!

Elections And Halloween

New York is having such a busy time because of 2 important even,
the Halloween
the Presidential Election
as for the Halloween it was on the 31st of October some of our friend traveled to Madison to take place of the biggest Halloween parade in the United states, but me and Jennifer preferred saving this money which is up to 400$ to spend them in NY on something else, and we went for the Halloween parade in NY which is for me is was so cool and big.
Everyone that night was dressed up in something every single person in the street you couldn’t even separate the real cops from the fake ones.
Me and Jennifer were wearing boxers, mine was a Halloween custom with a Halloween face at the front pocket saying pick a boo J and Jennifer was wearing santa clause boxer and his rest of the costumes.
Some people were naked and coloring all their body in a color
For sure poor George bush was the dummy of the election as many people were disguised in him and of course with very funny and aggressive messages. We went and had fun in the parade and came back home to sleep to start watching the presidential debated the next day, of course NY is such a Democrats which is blue states , mean Kerry supporters so I was the only Arabic, and Even among American that I ve met in New York who was supporting George W bush.
Even My GF was strongly against Bush like the rest.
I don’t know why I was sure that bush will make it and I even bet with every single one I met with so much confidence I don’t know how I was that sure, especially after the stupid Bin laden announcing that Kerry is bad too but he is Better than Bush, so it doesn’t need an asshole to understand that for sure Mr. Ben doesn’t really care about America and the American Well Faire J so this made people who were confused decide to vote for bush I think.
The next night which is the night of counting the ballets we went to watch the count In a bar we were having drinks, and every time they announce that this state has more votes to Kerry every one say yeaa, and I say bugger and then they announce that the other state has more voted for bush and I go yeaaa and everyone looks at me as if I am a crazy Psycho.
Anyway the election is over and Bush made it again, and I still believe he is good with all my respect for my friends who doesn’t like him.
“I am sure so many people will hate me for this”

Eating,shopping and life in NY

Oh well oh well, Eating and shopping in New York is amazing.
I think it is the best place to shop from it is cheap and expensive don’t ask me how cause it’s a long story. anything you think of I am sure you would find in NY specially Manhattan 100% for eating it is such a hard choice cause easy to get vitnamease,chinease,japanease,thai,Spanish,Turkish,etc….. In your area it’s kind of crazy but I love this. Me and jen having been going to this Vietnamese restaurant that I love its called lannam its on 3rd Avenue intersection 28th street and I love their sweet and sour pork its fabulous! If anyone of you is going to NY one day you have to pay a visit especially for lunch.
If you like all what you eat Japanese you should head to 32nd between Avenue of the Americas and 5th Avenue its called minado, yummy it’s more than 10 types of sushi and all kind of Japanese food. Is you like Asian you should head there.
If you need any help there feel free to contact jen and she will take you around JBut while leaving in the best city in the world from my point of view, nothing is perfect it is such a rats city, it is dirty and full of rats every where especially in the subway, so people who doesn’t like rats be coutious you might be exposed to them any time, rather than that enjoy the lovely city.

Me, The Gym, And the Fag

What an amazing Gym!!!on the 18th of October after my arrival by 3 days, Me, Jen and Jill (our friend and jen room mate) went to this fabulous gym to make a member ship there its called bally gym, it wow 4 floor all what you can imagine in a gym is there.Anyway we discovered the first problem was that the member of this gym has a problem with nudity :) !!!which mean they really enjoy mingling around in the changing rooms naked and you can see all what you want freely and they would give you a nice smile too while drying all hair they have on their body by the hair dryer and looking in the mirror, that is so yalky seriously especially for me and jen , jen comes from Australia a kind of conservative nudity culture and I come from Egypt haha :) I don't have to continue then.the problem wasn't this only the big problem was with me by then, cause 4 days later I discovered that to population of the gym from man lets say 50% gays at least and I don't have any problem with them as long that they are on their own and I am on my own, but I discovered this by having nice greeting in the changing room and question like hey nice pant where did u get it from and are you Italian ? and I say no why they say cause of your hair and body show this and shit like these, the funny time there was this Asian Fag that I cant say about him except fag was complementing me on my cloth in the changing room and he asked me what am I doing in NY I though he will ask me out or something so I was like I am just visiting cause I miss my girlfriend so much and I repeated girl friend girl friend girl friend cause I though maybe this will zap him away, but in a while I was in the whirl pool (Jacuzzi) and I found him and his fagot friend with me giving me smiles and shit like this and opening conversations so I told them I have to go and I left cursing the Us and my self and my roots too hahah, I never been chased b4 especially by men, and believe me it is not nice or funny it is pretty annoying.Once again for my gay friend I don't have anything against you I love you all :) hahah

Welcome To New York

Bling bling bling …!
